One of my most favorite medicines from nature. I love collecting cottonwood buds. The deep, woodsy scent and sticky extract is something I look forward to each spring. 
Cottonwood Salve from the buds of the Black Cottonwood tree, Populus balsamifera. This special salve is also referred to as Balm of Gilead is mentioned in the scriptures.
Cottonwood Salve is 
“Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wounds of my people? “Jeremiah 8:22
This is a wonderful salve that heals and protects the skin. Use for cuts/abrasion, dry skin, eczema, rashes, cold sores, sunburns, cuticle care, dry feet, bug bites ect. Any time you might reach for an over-the-counter antibiotic cream use this instead!
Contents: available in 2 oz. Tin or 4 oz. Glass Jar
Ingredients: wild harvested cottonwood tree buds, vitamin E oil, olive oil, locally harvested raw beeswax
